Communitywork

  • C.C.A.M.I Community Center, Windsor Lane: Coordinator/Director of the children’s programs, which entails planning fun and educational activities, and teaching dance classes. Also assists with our weekly abstinence program and Girls club.
  • C.C.A.M.I Homework Center, Windsor Lane: Tutor, Assist students with homework, reading, and math skills. Also serves as a coordinator for the dance program.
  • Urban Dance Company-T.G. Glover Primary School: Dance Teacher -I volunteer my time 3 days a week at T.G. Glover Primary School giving free dance lessons to kids in the Urban community. The ages range from 6 years to 15 years old. They are also given the opportunity to go out and perform at different cultural events on occasion.
  • UNESCO/CID Dance Congress Nassau Section: Secretary General- A member of UNESCO’s World Congress of Dance Nassau Section, for which I am the Secretary. I received my credentials in Paris, France March 2018 at UNESCO’ s Headquarters. I am responsible for keeping members abreast on current CID information and upcoming events. I take notes at all meetings and distribute minutes to all members after every meeting. I also handle all secretarial duties such as drafting organizing meetings and correspondence.
