Driven by a strong commitment to community engagement and a proven ability to work well in team settings, I have effectively contributed to various projects with Key Club International, enhanced customer service at Mays Beauty, and G.E.M.S events. My experience includes organizing fundraising events and event setup, showcasing my coordination skills, leadership skills and dedication to achieving impactful results.
During my summer job, I worked as a teacher/student worker in a program for primary school children, where I helped supervise and engage with students from toddlers to sixth graders for four and a half weeks. The position involved teaching various activities similar to those in a regular school setting, and I worked six hours a day, Monday through Friday. This experience helped me develop my communication and social skills, allowing me to step out of my comfort zone, which I believe will be valuable in pursuing every J.A felid
I really enjoy reading because it lets me dive into different worlds and learn new things. I like to share book recommendations with my friends, and being the vice president of my school book club has helped me develop my leadership skills and connect with other passionate readers. For community engagement, I love using social media to promote my clubs and boost interaction. Creating eye-catching posters and posts to get people excited about our activities, its a great way that helps me to connect with others. Volunteering has also become a big part of my life—I have helped with beach clean-ups and school events like Mardi Gras and swim galas etc. It definitely feels amazing to give back, and I’ve discovered skills I didn’t even know I had. Overall, these activities help me grow and connect with others in meaningful ways.
