Graduate Research
Comparative Evaluation of Artificial Intelligence Platforms in Occupational Safety and Health Risk Assessment. Determine which AI (LLMs) model best align with established OSH risk assessment best practices. Explore the feasibility of AI use for OSH risk assessment in small island developing states and developing countries where OSH expertise and knowledge are not readily available.
Undergraduate Research
The Effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the Well-being of University Students. Conducted a cross-sectional survey-based study among students actively attending the University of The Bahamas (FALL 2020). Findings highlighted the multidimensional effects of the pandemic on student well-being (mental health, social interactions, financial stability, spirituality, education and lifestyle behaviors). Findings indicate the pandemic has had a negative influence on students well-being across most measured domains, with a positive impact on students spiritual practice and diet quality.
