Corene Bodie-Sweeting

I am a dedicated professional with strong expertise in guest service, and team supervision. I have a track record of ensuring seamless hospitality experiences, and high standards of service in fast-paced environments. Also, I am very astute in problem solving , and multitasking.

I have worked with Atlantis for 27 years in the food and beverage area. I started as a room service waitress , and after successfully performing to the highest standard , I was given employee of the month; then promoted to Cabana Butler. I worked in this capacity for the rest of my tenure. On several, occasions I was selected employee of the month, at least four separate times. Eventually, I was made employee of the year in 2014.

Now, I am attending University of the Bahamas , where I am a sophomore studying social work.

I am teachable , flexible , hard worker , consistent , strategic, self motivate , driven , a team player , supportive, and willing to go the extra mile in service, and a leader .

     My favorite pass time is bicycle riding, I enjoy the freedom , you feel on a bike . The opportunity to totally relax, with the breezes blowing in your hair. I love travelling; being expose to new experiences, discovering culture, and history. However, the most relaxing thing for me to do is the beach , I love the serenity and calmness of the water.
