First award by issued by Commissioner Mr. Bernard K. Bonaby on 18th December, 1991 for the arrest and conviction of four bandits for several complaints of Armed Robberies, Rapes, Burglary etc on 7th November, 1989.
Second award by Commissioner Mr. Paul Farquharson on 25th March, 2005 for Monday 15th November, 2004 when while attending and investigating an Armed Robbery complaint at the residence of Mr. Fritz Stubbs, Honorary Council of the Republic of Surinam, situated at the Grove West Bay Street who was robbed of cash and valuables at gunpoint when the unthinkable happened. The two masked and armed bandits returned to the scene one of whom was armed with a 12 Gauge Shotgun. I then used my service revolver to restrain, arrest a Bahamian male with the shotgun on scene and persued the second male apprehending him in nearby shrubs.
Third (3) Award by Commissioner Mr. Reginald Ferguson on 12th November, 2008 at Police Headquarters for the pursuit and arrest of an Armed Robber who had robbed the Scotiabank East Street and Soldier while shooting a female officer to the face which led to a successful conviction and sentence by the Supreme Court.
