Junkanoo

Junkanoo is The Bahamas' premier cultural expression. The main festival parade is held each year on Boxing Day and New Years Day  on Bay Street with a very high level display of costumes, music, and dance. However, smaller festivals and parades are held throughout the year on specific holidays such as Labor Day, Independence Day and Emancipation Day.
