• Conducts frequent field inspections as it pertains to equipment and logs findings into HELM for follow-up by the responsible department head.

• Conduct daily equipment checks at Potter’s Cay along with a Port Department representative and verify invoices related to equipment in the area.

• Maintain or assist in maintaining files and records; receive and process information according to established guidelines and procedures.

• Assist with the day-to-day management and all reporting as it pertains to the operation.

• Assist with closing out open items in the HELM system as directed by department leads.

• Tracks equipment to monitor damage, limit demurrage, and increase on-time performance.

• Reviews HELM entries to ensure entries are coded and worded properly.

• Uses knowledge of the operation to identify responsible parties to close out various tasks in the HELM system.

• Participate in training others in the use of HELM.

• Identifies opportunities for process and communication improvement to enhance the efficiency of operation.

• Liaise between departments and other crew members to resolve any issues or concerns that arise.

• Monitors requests that are sent to be entered into the HELM system.
