For the past 15+ years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Chief Nurse with Royal Caribbean International—leading multidisciplinary medical teams, coordinating complex care, and protecting the wellbeing of diverse crews and guests from around the world.
· Assisted in establishing and equipping the Medical Facilities, including procurement and organization of clinical supplies and equipment.
· Supported development and implementation of protocols, ensuring alignment with local law and company standards.
· Managed emergency preparedness, clinical treatment plans and medical evacuations in accordance with local regulations, supporting both resident crew and calling ships
· Responsible for managing occupational health programs for crew, including prevention, assessment and treatment planning.
