Princess Margaret Hospital is a public, 402 bed, acute tertiary care inpatient facility, with a level 1 trauma center, medical, surgical, and ambulatory care.

• Provide nursing care to ill patients with conditions such as stroke, cardiovascular, ESRD, HTN, DM, immunocompromised, trauma, and cancer, amongst other diseases.
• Educate and provide emotional support to clients and family members on disease management and prevention strategies, reducing readmission rates.
• ·Assess, implement, plan, and evaluate patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications such as IV therapy, intravenous fluids, blood transfusions, oral, IM and SubQ injections.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding patient care to achieve positive outcomes.
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or conditions.
• Utilize nursing principles to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, and modify patient centered care.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients physiological, behavioral, medical, and social needs.
• Administer psychotropic agents (oral, short, and long acting injectables), maintain patient safety and integrity, and promote improved quality of life.

Joint Commission Accredited (JCI) private 72 bed acute care hospital with inpatient and outpatient services, level 1 stroke, and trauma center.
