
POSITION: MANAGER NORTH AND CENTRAL ANDROS
To seek and maintain the managerial position that offers professional challenges utilizing interpersonal skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Reliable, energetic Mechanic with a passion for hands-on work. Identifies issues early and comes up with cost-effective solutions for the company. Hardworking Mechanic skilled in resolving mechanical issues on diverse engines/generators through troubleshooting and diagnostics. Successful at adapting to new procedures, makes and models.
YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT: 33 years
Started as a Station Mechanic Mate in 1991, then promoted to Station Mechanic in 2016, and now to potentially be promoted to Mechanic Formant to various Power Stations in North and Central Andros for this year 2024.
I have completed various courses in the Cooperation: Master Mechanic Course, Electric Power Generator Course (EPG), Failure Analysis Course, Supervisory Course, Operations Course 1 & 2, various Safety Courses, and Vehicle Maintenance Courses.
Travel: I have traveled to several islands to many Power Stations such as Abaco, Bimini, Eleuthera, Harbour Island, Great Harbour Cay, and South Andros gaining experience with various Power stations and how they function. I have also been instrumental in the maintenance of the Central Andros Power Station.
Assisted over the years in the distribution system gaining knowledge in maintenance and construction in this particular system.
I am known to be reliable, consistent, and efficient and I work well under pressure. I, also have in my capacity as a Station Mechanic managed subordinate staff.
My experience in the last 33 years in the field of Electric Power Generator is paramount to the efficient running and management of the North and Central Andros Power Station.
